I. PHẨM SONG YẾU (YAMAKAVAGA)

1. Trong các pháp[2], tâm dẫn đầu, tâm làm chủ, tâm tạo tác. Nếu nói hoặc làm với tâm ô nhiễm, sự khổ sẽ theo nghiệp kéo đến như bánh xe lăn theo chân con vật kéo[3].
[2] Pháp tức là Dhamma. Ở đây chỉ về pháp bất thiện, ở câu thứ hai chỉ về pháp thiện.
[3] Nguyên văn: Cakkam va vahato padam, nên dịch là: “Như bánh xe lăn theo chân con thú kéo xe”.
